Madball, dé grondleggers van New York hardcore, brengen hun onverwoestbare energie en iconische sound naar Antwerp Metal Fest op zaterdag 17 mei 2025.Sinds hun ontstaan in de late jaren '80 hebben Freddy Cricien en zijn crew de wereld veroverd met hun compromisloze mix van hardcore, punk en pure agressie. Ze demonstreren hun stijl (pun intended) met klassiekers als "Set It Off" en "Hardcore Lives" en bewijzen keer op keer dat zij dé grote stem zijn van de hardcore scene. Hun meest recente plaat "For the Cause" (2018) bewijst dat Madball nog steeds ongenadig hard en relevant is, met keiharde riffs, meedogenloze energie en teksten recht uit het hart. Live zijn ze een genadeloze kracht, maar ge zult geen probleem hebben dit op te merken te midden de circlepits, meekelend met de klassiekers.
